Oh my gosh I just heard and it breaks my heart. Erik indeed was a soft spoken man and was always very kind whenever you asked him for anything. His love of animals wasn't reserved to just the domesticated ones. It wasn't unusual too see pics of his raccoons on his office wall at work. I work with Erik for about 12 yrs at the Assessor's office and I truly am shocked he is gone and I'm praying for all his loved ones left behind as know how much he loved his family and was very proud of them and light up when talking about his kids and grandkids.
