I met and knew Eric and Ann at Tulane. My sister, Jennifer, who lives in New Orleans forwarded me the announcement. I remember him fondly.
My sincere condolences to all.
David
Our thoughts and prayers are with your family. May the words in Philippians 4:6,7 bring you hope and comfort.
I thought of Eric as a sweet and giving person. He was always very kind to me. He had a terrific sense of humor, and a great smile. I am so sad to learn he's no longer with us, but his spirit lives on, I'm sure of it. My condolences to all his family, fiancee and friends.
I can picture you now at Ol' Toones, banging on the Hurricane bucket, singing John Fogerty "Put me in coach, I'm ready to play centerfield"
Thanks for everything, buddy. Hope you are enjoying a cactus juice and hot water right now.
Our deepest sympathies to Nan and the Sellman family. We had a lot of wonderful times with Eric. He was one of the "best". He will be missed, not only by us, but by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.
People like Eric never truly leave us. They live on in the kindness and humor they displayed, the smiles they brought into our lives and the lessons they taught us about living in the moment.
Eric will be missed. He was the consummate entertainer, with deep compassion and a caring nature. We all have wonderful and enduring memories of Eric and his endless amusement. May his memory provide us all with an easy smile.
Eric was without question one of the funniest and brightest lights we knew. Memories that will withstand. Our sympathies are with Nan and his family. BJ & Alex
