Emory S. “Flick” Esquinance, on Tuesday, May 29, 2007.
He was retired from Southeast LA Hospital as an E.E.G. Technician. One of the founding fathers of the Mandeville Fire Department were he retired as the Secretary/Treasurer. Served in the US Army during the rebuilding of Germany after WWII and during the Korea War.
Beloved husband of the late Shirley P. Esquinance. Father of William “Billy” Esquinance and spouse Betty Ann. Grandfather of Christopher K. Esquinance and Jennifer Lynn Esquinance. Brother of Paul Esquinance, Vertie Young, Margie Esquinance and the late August “Dewey” Esquinance and Sr. Gertrude Esquinance, O.S.B.
Aged 79 years, a native and a lifelong resident of Mandeville, LA.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Thursday, May 31, 2007 at 3:00 PM from Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, 312 Lafitte Street, Mandeville, LA. Visitation at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433on Wednesday from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM and on Thursday, AT THE CHURCH, from 2:00 PM until service time.
Interment in Mandeville Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, Masses are preferred.
