Emily Chase Jenkins' Obituary
Emily "Emmie" Chase Jenkins, a beloved family member and friend, passed away on June 21, 2024, at the age of 28. Emmie was a loving mother to her daughter, Regan Jenkins, who was the light of her life.
Emmie had a remarkable talent for bringing laughter to those around her with her sharp wit and infectious humor. As a gifted artist, her creativity and skills shone through in her beautiful artwork. Her warmth and laughter will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Emmie was always ready to help others in need, and her selflessness and compassion were evident in the way she supported those around her, even in her toughest times. Her spirit remained resilient and her love for her family unwavering. Her memory will be cherished forever.
Emmie is survived by her daughter, Regan Jenkins; her parents, Karl Philip Chase and Eileen “Nene” Nofsinger Chase; her grandmother, Carlene Chase; her aunts and uncles, Kitty Nofsinger Faulkenberry, Peggy Nofsinger Barq, Jack Nofsinger, Dan Haggerty (Jan), Dennis Schukay, Jesse Chase (Shelly), Michael Bowers (Lisa), and Becky Bowers; her cousins, Jacqueline Bordeaux (Frank), Johanna Nofsinger, Maggie Caver (Ryan), Daniel Nofsinger, Olivia “Ollie” Ainsworth (Luke), Natalie Goulet (Aaron), Olivia Chase, Brandon Schukay, Brent Schukay (Johanna), Bobby Bowers, Jeff Bowers, Michael Bowers (Mallory), Victoria Bowers, Paula Bowers, and Stephanie Felan (Gilbert); and her second cousins, Miles, Hudson, Jack Fisher, Frank “Coco”, Oliver, Charlie, Finley, Pennelope, Lucas “Bean”, Neville, Eloise, Rowan, Mary Helen, Maddie, Trey, Dennise (Alex & Rylan James), and Erica (Chandler & Isla Mae). Let’s not forget Zoey, Arfur, and Spanky. She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Jack Nofsinger, her cousin, Sean Faulkenberry, and her uncle, Richard Bowers.

Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave., Covington, LA 70433 on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at 3:00 PM with visitation from 1:00 PM until service time.
