Emelie LeBlanc Wymer's Obituary
Emelie LeBlanc Wymer, a lifelong resident of St. Tammany Parish and a native of the Covington area.
A 20 year owner of Wymer’s Grocery Store and Bar on Lee Road in Covington. She passed away on July 17, 2008 at her residence due to complications of congestive heart failure.
Mrs. Wymer was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Mr. Robert F. Wymer, Jr. and her parents, Henry Lloyd LeBlanc and Eliza LeBlanc Istre and a sister, Marie Adele Billiot, and two brothers, Harry Lloyd LeBlanc and Daniel L. Francois. She is survived by her three daughters, Patricia Holden, Betsey Bourque and Robin Eastman; her three sons, Julius Holden, Terry Bourque, Sr., and Frederick Eastman, Sr., her eight grandchildren, Wayne Holden, Tori H. Bauer, Charmaine Holden, Terry Bourque, Jr., Robert “Bobby” Bourque, Christopher Bourque, Nique Bourque, and F.J. Eastman; her three granddaughters-in-law, Carolynn M. Bourque, Melissa G. Bourque, and LeAnn P. Bourque; her one grandson-in-law Rodney Bauer; her nine great grandchildren, Robbie and Daniel Holden, Hunter and Isaiah Bauer, Jeremy Bourque, Landon Bourque, Remington Bourque, Gauge Bourque and Dalton Bourque and a sister, Elta Mae Simon.
She is deeply loved in return and her memory will continue to strengthen and enrich the lives and minds of her family and friends.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation on Tuesday, July 22, 2008 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at New Zion Baptist Church Fellowship Hall, 17387 New Zion Baptist Church Road, Covington, LA 70435.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the New Zion Baptist Church Building Fund are preferred. E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433 in charge of arrangements.
