Ella Jeanne Hebert Boudreaux's Obituary
Ella Jeanne Hebert Boudreaux, age 93 of Madisonville, LA died on Sunday, October 02, 2016, at Forest Manor Nursing Home in Covington, LA. She was born on Sunday, January 14, 1923 in Raceland, LA to the late Hercules Joseph Hebert and Estella Melanie Hebert.
Ella was the loving mother of Pansy M. Boudreaux, Ray A. Boudreaux (Vivian), Vernon J. Boudreaux, Jr. (Linda), and the late Michael F. Boudreaux (Debbie). She will be dearly missed by her 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Ella was the sister of the late Velma Melancon (the late Ivy), Wilmer Hebert (Vernice), Loney Hebert, and Joe Hebert. Ella was also preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Vernon J. Boudreaux, Sr.
Ella worked as a clerk in the Jefferson Parish Planning and Zoning Department for 20 years. She was also an entrepreneur in real estate which allowed her and her husband, Vernon, to retire early. They enjoyed growing vegetables together in their garden and spending time with their family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Mass at St. Anselm Catholic Church, 306 St. Mary St., Madisonville, LA 70447 on October 6, 2016 at 11:30 AM with visitation from 9:00 AM until service time.
