Elizabeth Beverly Rosenthal's Obituary
Elizabeth “Liz” Rosenthal passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 25, 2020 at her home in Mandeville, La.
Liz worked with children of special needs for St. Tammany School Board for 20 years, until she retired due to illness.
Elizabeth was born September 18, 1944 in New Orleans to the late Roger and Elizabeth Martin Williams. She was the only daughter of five children. Three preceded her in death, Roger, Ronald, and Randolph Williams. She is survived by her loving brother John H. Williams. Liz married her beloved husband, the late Isadore M. Rosenthal, Sr. (1971) of Mandeville, La. Her beautiful life will always be cherished by her adoring children, Beverly (Craig) Andrews of Mandeville, La, Elizabeth McIntyre of Abita Springs, La, and Isadore M. Rosenthal Jr. of Mandeville, La. She was blessed with 5 beautiful granddaughters Elizabeth (Michael) Griffin, Sherrie (Michael) Ybarzabal, Shelley (Kyle) O’Neal, Beverly McIntyre, and Victoria McIntyre. Also, 9 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great child, and a host of devoted nieces, nephews, and friends.
Those blessed to have known her knew her as “Ma” or “Maw Maw”.
She was mother to all! Her door was always open. All who entered would be greeted with a kiss, advice, a hardy meal and dessert with a fresh pot of brewed coffee waiting. She was a loving and caring woman who opened her heart and her home by always putting others first.
Although there is joy and peace in our hearts knowing she is with her eternal family, she will be sorely missed until the day we can see her again.
Due to our countries unfortunate state of affairs with the COVID 19, services will held privately. Her committal services will take place at Mandeville Cemetery. The Rosenthal family invites you to share thoughts, fond memories, and condolences online at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home Guest Book at www.ejfieldingfh.com.
