Elizabeth Moon Reese's Obituary
Elizabeth Moon Reese of Mandeville, LA, loving wife, mother, and grandmother passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2006. Age 75 years. She was born and raised in Birmingham, AL. She graduated from Woodlawn High School and worked as a secretary for Alabama Gas Corporation. She married Jules Reese in 1959, and was a full time mother and grandmother since that time. She was a lifelong member of the Methodist Church. Throughout her life she moved several times; Chicago, Atlanta, Miami Beach, but her friends from Peoria, IL and the Forest Hills United Methodist Church always held a very special place in her heart.
She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Jules Reese; three children, Suzanne Reese-Mathis of Orlando, FL, Jules Reese, III of Miami, FL, and Andy Reese of New Orleans, LA, four granddaughters, and one brother, Don Moon, of Birmingham, AL. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the memorial service from the Chapel of E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, Inc., 2260 W. 21st Ave., Covington, LA on Sunday, April 23, 2006 at 3:00 PM. Friends may visit from 1:00 PM until service time. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the American Association of Kidney Patients.
