Elizabeth "Betty" Ann Davies Perrilloux's Obituary
Elizabeth “Betty” Ann Davies Perrilloux of Covington, LA passed away on Thursday, December 20, 2018. She was born on July 10, 1942 in Covington, LA to Emile Patrick Davies, Sr. and Marlene “Mattie” Sharp.
Betty is survived by her children Kimberly Perrilloux Caruso (Bryant), Shannon Perrilloux Boudreaux (Kevin), and Floyd Victor Perrilloux, III (Lori); grandchildren Devin Caruso, Lindsey Caruso, Richard Martinez, II, Autumn Boudreaux, Amie Perrilloux, Ryan Perrilloux, Alie Perrilloux; and her great-grandson Alexander James Fourtney. She is also survived by her siblings Marlene Haffey, Karl Davies, Emile “Pat” Davies, Jr., Toni Maklary, and Vickie Kuhn as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Betty is preceded in death by her husband Floyd V. Perrilloux, Jr., her sister Patricia “Penny” Sharp, and her parents.
Betty grew up in Covington and married Floyd in 1960. She spent twenty years as a Navy wife, until they retired to Folsom in 1979. Betty enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, crafting, and teaching classes at the Hammond Council on Aging. Betty went to her first Saints game in 1966 and has been a devoted fan ever since.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Thursday December 27, 2018 at 2:00PM. A Wake will be held on Wednesday from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home. Visitation will resume on Thursday at 12:00 PM until service time. Interment will follow the service in Morse Cemetery, Bedico, LA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Mrs. Perrilloux to be made to Richard Murphy Hospice House, 1109 S Chestnut Street, Hammond, LA 70403, www.richardmurphyhospice.com .
