Elizabeth "Libby" Paysse McMurray's Obituary
Elizabeth “Libby” Paysse McMurray passed away Saturday, November 5, 2011. A resident of Covington for most of her life, she was born May 7, 1920 in New Orleans, LA to the late Joseph E. and Katie Quinn Paysse.
The beloved wife of the late Charles Henry McMurray, sister of the late Kathleen P. Fielding, she is survived by her daughter, Eileen M. Fenger, husband Bernie; two sons, Michael J. McMurray, wife Deidra, and Kevin C. McMurray, wife Colleen; brother Joseph E. Paysse, Jr. M.D.; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
She was a member of the St. Peter’s Alter Society, St. Tammany Parish Hospital Guild where she volunteered as a “pink lady”, and The Covington Food Bank.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral mass at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at St. Peter Catholic Church, 125 E. 19th Ave. Covington, LA 70433.
Visitation at St. Peter’s Church will begin Wednesday day at 10:00 AM.
Interment at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens in Covington will immediately follow mass.
