Elizabeth "Ibsie" Ferguson Gremillion's Obituary
Elizabeth "Ibsie" Gremillion was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, on December 27, 1924 and died on Monday, March 29, 2010 at the age of 85 surrounded by her loving family.
A resident of New Orleans and Covington, Louisiana for many years, Ibsie was preceded in death by her parents, Anne Freret and Walter Judson Ferguson, and her husband Charles Cassidy Gremillion. She is survived by her children Charles Cassidy Gremillion, Jr. and his wife, Anne Lovick Gremillion and Anne Gremillion Trufant wife of David Stockton Trufant. Ibsie was a loving sister to Cleon Ferguson Gomila and Indie Ferguson Buhler. She is survived by nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral mass at St. Joseph Abbey, 75376 River Road, St. Benedict, Louisiana 70457, on Tuesday, April 6, at 2 p.m. A visitation will precede the service beginning at 1 p.m.
