Eleanor Blankenship Hyman's Obituary
Eleanor “Petie” Blankenship Hyman, 69 years old, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Friday, March 26, 2010, at her Mandeville home, surrounded by her loving family.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Ronald “Nick” Hyman, mother, Cora Ranlett Blankenship Beach, Son, Ron and Lisa Hyman, and their three sons, Nicholas, Blake and Ronnie. Eleanor also leaves behind four siblings, Semmes Blankenship, Cora Macormic, Lynn Mahoney, and Barbara Ferguson.
Petie will be remembered for efforts in the many civic organizations; Hancock County Tourism, Dunwoody North Garden Club, Pass Christian Garden Club, Bay Waveland Garden Club and Gather Ye Rosebuds.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Monday, March 29, 2010 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433 with visitation on Monday beginning at 12:00 noon.
Interment in Bay St. Louis, MS will be announced later.
