Elden Joseph Ordoyne Sr., 72 of Mandeville, LA died on Friday, August 23, 2013, at his residence. Born, Saturday, September 28, 1940 in Thibodaux, LA to Wilton Jay Ordoyne and Irene Marie Ordoyne.
Survived by his wife - Laura Ordoyne, mother - Irene Marie Ordoyne, daughter - Tammy Walder, and son-in-law- Jules Walder III, grandson - Jarred Walder, granddaughter Julie Day and husband Patrick, great-grandchildren - Alivia Walder, and Sean Walder, brothers - Gordon Ordoyne, Ricky Ordoyne, special niece- Theresa Boudreaux. He was predeceased by his father - Wilton Jay Ordoyne, son - Elden Joseph Ordoyne, Jr., and sister - Barbara Ann Ordoyne and brother- Raleigh Ordoyne..
He was a member of the Mandeville Lions Club and retired from Mandeville Fire Department and Advanced Electric.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral mass from E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433 on Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at 11:00 AM. Visitation on Monday from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM and on Tuesday from 9:00 AM until service time. Interment in Mandeville Cemetery.
