Elaine L. Turnley's Obituary
Elaine L. Turnley of Mandeville, LA passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2011 at age 83.
Beloved wife of Edgar E. Turnley. Loving mother of Carla T. Hill (James) of Birmingham, AL. Daughter of the late Rosalie Verret Lognion and Alex Lognion. Grandmother of Kevin A. Hill and Brian E. Hill. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Virgie L. Fanguy, Dorothy L. Boudreaux; and her brothers, Robert Lognion, John Lognion and Al Lognion.
She was a native of Lake Charles and a resident of Mandeville for the past 25 years.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to a visitation at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave., Covington, LA 70433 on Sunday, March 27, 2011 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM and the graveside service at Lacassine Catholic Cemetery in Lacassine, LA 70650 on Monday, March 28, 2011 at 1:00 PM with a gathering at the cemetery beginning at 12:30 PM.
