Effie Mary Price's Obituary
Effie Mary Price passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2016 in Lacombe, LA. She was born on March 4, 1919 in Morgan City, LA to the late Willie L. Price and Rita Falgout Price.
Effie was the loving mother of Milton R. Newman III and his wife, Barbara. She was the loving grandmother of Richard, Sandi, and Christian. She was the great aunt of Linda Harris. Effie was the sister of Jimmy Price, Roland Price and Lillian Harris Buford. The family would like to extend their gratitude to Lacombe Nursing Home and Legacy Hospice for their gentle care and support.
Effie was proud of her service as a WAC in the U.S. Army during World War II.
