Edythe Marie Hollis Proze passed away on Friday, June 18, 2010.
Beloved wife of the late Charles J. Proze. Mother of Pamela Rider, David Franks, Karon Franks and James Abney. Grandmother of Tina, Paul, Jason, Carolyn, Charlotte, Shelena, Jessica and Jonathan. Great-grandmother of Michael, Charles, Grayson, Cheyenne, Tyler, Renee, Hannah and Micah. Sister of Wallace “Sonny” Hollis and the late Wanda Wilson and Eddie Hollis. Daughter of the late Lenzy Hollis and Minneola Pearson Hollis.
Age 75 years. A native of Lovelady, TX, a former resident of Kenner and Destrehan and a resident of Bush, LA for the past 17 years.
She was a founding member of the Krewe of Aquila, an avid Saints fan and horse enthusiast. She was a former employee of Mutual of Omaha Insurance Co.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the memorial visitation at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433 on Sunday, June 27, 2010 from 2:00 PM. until 4:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations to St. Joseph Hospice Foundation, Box 241, Baton Rouge, LA 70810 (www.stjosephhospicefoundation.org) or a charity of your choice.
