Edward (Eddie) N. LeBlanc, age 76, passed away on Monday, February 6, 2006. Beloved husband of Madelyn Haney LeBlanc for 56 years. Father of the Glen LeBlanc (deceased), Paul LeBlanc, Edward LeBlanc, Jr. and Diane LeBlanc Andries. Father-in-law of Beth LeBlanc, John Andries and Mary LeBlanc. Grandfather of Scott and Blake LeBlanc, Anna Day, Leah LeBlanc, Eric, Madelyn and Matthew Andries and Great-grandfather of Emma Grace LeBlanc.
Eddie is survived by his brother and three sisters Eilbur (W.A.) LeBlanc, Rita Rose LeBlanc, Shirley LeBlanc Tammetta and Shelby LeBlanc Myott.
Eddie LeBlanc was a native of New Orleans, LA for 66 years and spent the last 10 years with his wife Madelyn in Mandeville, LA. Eddie retired from NOPSI, Power Department after 39 years and enjoyed spending his retirement attending his children’s and grandchildren’s activities. He also enjoyed traveling, golf, fishing and his passion for ironwork. Eddie has a huge heart and was always there to lend a helping hand on any family project. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend who will be dearly missed and never forgotten.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Service from the Chapel of E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, Inc., 2260 W. 21st Ave., Covington, LA on Friday, February 10, 2006 at 3:00 PM. A visitation will be held from 2:00 PM until service time.
