Edward Theodore Kidd's Obituary
Edward Theodore Kidd passed away on Sunday, March 21, 2010.
Beloved husband of 55 years to LaVerne McCannon Kidd; loving father of Melani K. Fortner, Sherri Kidd and her husband Clarence Mullet, and Leslie Kidd Zamora and her husband Melvin; grandfather to Lacie Lee, Magen, Chad, Rebecca (Becky), Brittney, Courtney, Jameson, Christopher and Ian. He was also survived by nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruby Mays Kidd, his father, Willie Kidd, and two brothers, William and Wiley Kidd.
Age 75 years, he was a native of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and a resident of Folsom, LA for the past 26 years. He was a United States Army Veteran having served in the 82nd Airborne.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend Funeral Services with Military Honors on Thursday, March 25, 2010 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433.
Visitation on Thursday will begin at 9:00 AM.
