Edward Cecil Jones' Obituary
Edward Cecil Jones passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at the age of 71.
Beloved husband of Janet Ruppert Jones. Loving father of Ellen Jones Gauthreaux (Trey) and Bridget Jones Russo (Andre’). Son of the late Cecil Edward Jones and Virginia Frey Jones. Brother of John Jones, Ernest Jones, Walter Jones and the late James “Bob” Jones and David Jones. Grandfather of Emily Gauthreaux, Alicia Gallardo, Nathan Gauthreaux and Nicole Russo. Also survived by nieces and nephews.
Mr. Jones was a retired diesel mechanic and a resident of Bush, LA for the past 36 years.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services on Monday, September 30, 2013 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 at 11:00 AM with visitation on Monday from 9:00 AM until service time.
Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.
