Edna Jane Ordogne Pichon's Obituary
Edna Jane Ordogne Pichon transitioned peacefully on August 10, 2021 at the age of 81. She was born in Lacombe, Louisiana to the late Elmo and Mable Ordogne. She was the third of 10 children born to that union.
Edna was a devoted and loving wife of the late Milton C. Pichon, Sr. for 45 years. She was a home maker and caregiver to several families in the Covington area. Edna was an amazing baker and created special memories for many weddings, birthdays and other special occasions.
Those left to cherish her memory are, her daughter Jennifer (Kevin) Johnson, her sons Milton (Betty) Pichon Jr., Edward Pichon, Derrick Bailey, her granddaughter Kaylyn Johnson, her grandson Laurence Bowser and great-granddaughters, Lauren Bowser and Kameryn Bowser. She is also survived by seven sisters Catherine Ducre, Victorine Williams, Ethel (Vernon) Boyd, Elma Ordogne, Evelyn Lindsey, Sylvia Ordogne (Kevin) Bailey and Agatha Townsend, one brother Vernon (Juanita) Ordogne and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her brother Ernest Ordogne and grandson Eldred St. Jon Bowser.
Due to COVID-19, social distancing is encouraged and masks are required to attend services.
Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Tuesday, August 17, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
At the family’s request, a private Mass of Christian Burial will be held.
