Edna Gilley Mequet's Obituary
Edna Gilley Mequet went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at the age of 87.
Loving wife of the late Robert O. Mequet, Sr. Beloved mother of Robert “Rip” Mequet, Jr. (Stacey), Joya “Baby Doll” Mequet Taylor (Richard), Suzanne Mequet Brantley (George) and Suzette Mequet Bowman (Kirk). Daughter of the late Irene Lewis Gilley and Arthur Gilley. Sister of Mickey Gilley and the late Aubrey Gilley and Ray Gilley. Also survived by eleven grandchildren and twenty-four great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a life celebration at Church of the King, 22205 Little Creek Rd., Mandeville, LA 70471 on Friday, July 13, 2012 at 11:00 AM with visitation on Friday from 10:00 AM until service time.
Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.
