Edna Mae Kersh Palliser's Obituary
Edna Mae Kersch Palliser passed away on April 4, 2010. She was born June 24, 1917 in Lumberton, MS to the late Rufus Marion and Mollie Elsie Woodcock Kersh and has been a resident of Covington, LA for the past 71 years.
The beloved wife of the late Milton Clifton Palliser, she is survived by four sons: Gerald Frank (Daphne), Charles Donald (Sharon), Michael Wayne (Duchess) and Thomas David (Darlene) Palliser. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Mrs. Palliser retired from the St. Tammany Parish School System as an assistant lunchroom manager and has been a member of the First Baptist Church of Covington for the over 70 years she has lived in Covington.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend funeral services at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave., Covington, LA 70433.
Visiting hours will begin at 11:00 AM.
Interment at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens will immediately follow services.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of St. Tammany, 1202 S. Tyler St., Covington, LA 70433.
