Edith Marie Perrotti Harnett passed away on September 6, 2015 in Covington, LA. She was born on June 14, 1925 in Greenville, PA to the late Michael Perrotti and Faustina LaBiola Perrotti. Miss Edith lived in Slidell, Louisiana for the past 14 years.
Edie was the loving mother of April L. Wright (Robert) and Harry A. Harnett, III. She was the proud grandmother of Brittney Nicole Wright and her beloved fiancé Jacob M. Peters, Harry A. Harnett, IV, Daniel Harnett, Kelly Harnett, Hunter Harnett, and Wesley Harnett. Edie was the great grandmother of Harry V, Bailey, McKenzie, Emily, and Alexandria. She was the half-sister of the late Floyd Perrotti, Elvira Santangelo, Joseph Perrotti, Anthony Perrotti, Lucille Tredrea and Carmelita “Lee” Kachmer Karwacky.
Edie was an avid bridge player, enjoyed crossword puzzles and playing Scrabble. She had a talent with gardening and floral arrangements. Edie loved entertaining and preparing fabulous dinners and desserts for family and friends. During her life she worked at St. Clair Country Club in Upper St. Clair Township and volunteered at the Benedum Center in Pittburgh meeting many actors and celebrities. She traveled with friends to Europe and met distant family in Italy. Edie lived a full life.
