Prayers for the family. I remember Earl as the president of Columbia Homestead. I went there as an auditor. He was very respected by the employees.
My heartfelt condolences to Dr. Peter and the whole family. I knew Webby for many, many years as a fellow homestead and real estate attorney and a frequent luncheon companion with him and Dick at Ditcharo's in the business district of N. O. Plus my now-deceased wife Barbara enjoyed working for him as a secretary for years in his Columbia Homestead work. Even my daughter Jennifer worked in a summer job for him as she was growing up. He was keen-minded, kind, humorous, and mostly a good friend. Sad that he is gone.
We enjoyed many fun train trips with Webbie & Bummy. Webbie always had entertaining anecdotes to share with fellow passengers. He was an enthusiastic partner with us on our first private railcar which we restored and used on many subsequent trips. He will be sadly missed but fondly remembered. Maunsel White
