Dwight James Maddox's Obituary
Dwight James Maddox passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2009.
Beloved husband of 67 years to Donna Greenlee Maddox; loving father of Renae Griffin and her husband Ernest; grandfather of Christi Brugier and Todd Quave; great-grandfather of Christopher and Amber Quave, and Alexis and Lacey Brugier; and brother of Margaret A. Eagan and Joseph Richard “Dickie” Maddox. He was preceded in death by his mother, Anna Grace Capen Maddox; his father, Joseph F. Maddox; a son, Roger Sterling Maddox; a sister, Helen Simmons; and two brothers, Rolland F. Maddox and Edwin V. Maddox.
Age 89 years, he was a native of Sioux Falls, South Dakota and a resident of Covington, LA for the past 51 years, and a United States Army Veteran, having served during World War II.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend memorial services on Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Fitzgerald United Methodist Church, 80007 Fitzgerald Church Road, Covington, LA 70435.
Visitation on Tuesday AT THE CHURCH will beginning at 10:30 AM.
