Dorothy “Dottie” Gulino Signorino, age 92 of Abita Springs, LA died on Friday, March 21, 2014, at St. Tammany Parish Hospital. Born, Wednesday, October 26, 1921 in New Orleans, LA to the late John D. Gulino and Carmen Kilburn Gulino. Beloved wife of the late Paul P. Signorino and predeceased by her Sister Josephine G. Willie. Survived by her Daughters Dianne S. Thompson (Billy), and Dorothy "Dee" S. Taylor, Grandchildren Kristi T. Moore, Steven L. Thompson, Paula M. Thompson, Ashley T. Plaisance, Great-grandchildren Denny Moore, Meghan M. Candiotto, Angel T. Pellegrin, Chad L. Thompson, Hunter M. Plaisance, and Sister Carmen G. Roth. Also survived by 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was a retired nurse at St. Tammany Parish Hospital after 28 years of service. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Covington, enjoyed Square Dancing, crafts and always there to help and donate her time to ones in need. She was a native of New Orleans and a resident of Covington/Abita Springs for the past 59 years. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 West 21st Avenue Covington, LA 70433. Visitation on Monday, March 24, 2014 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 from 9:00 AM to service time. Interment in Bogue Falaya Church Cemetery Folsom, LA. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations for Hunter Mason Plaisance to SOAR (strengthening outcomes with autism resources) www.Soarwithautism.org.
