Dorothy "Dottye" Davis Rosenthal's Obituary
Dorothy “Dottye” Davis Rosenthal passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2011. She was born October 31, 1930 in Hammond, LA and was a long time resident of Mandeville.
She was the beloved wife of Toby Rosenthal for 55 years and loving mother of Kerri Leigh Lamers. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Naomi Rosenthal.
She graduated from Southeastern LA College (SLU) and was a teacher and homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, O.I. and Odie Davis; brother, Roy and her sister, O’dell.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend funeral service at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, 312 Lafitte St., Mandeville, LA 70448.
Visitation at the Church will begin at 10:00 AM.
Interment at the Mandeville Cemetery will immediately follow services.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
