Dorothy Byrne Casper died peacefully at home on February 9, 2010 after a lengthy illness.
Beloved wife of Leo Casper who was blessed to be married to her for 57 years of unconditional love. Beloved and devoted mother of Suzanne Casper and Glen Casper. Sister of Ann Franzen, Gladys Spencer, Gloria Brown and Joyce Gauthier.
She was proud of her Irish Heritage. Aged 85 years, a native of New Orleans and a resident of Pearl River, LA. God created a perfect wife and mother who was beautiful, compassionate, understanding, virtuous, patient, devoted, honest, unselfish and would sacrifice her needs and plans for her husband and children. God now welcomes her back from her journey through life, her loving and giving nature will be remembered by family and friends. Her family’s love for her is eternal. “Life is real, life is ernest and the grave is not its goal, dust thou art to dust returneth was not Spoken of the soul”
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend memorial services on Friday, February 19, 2010 at 3:00 PM from the Chapel at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433 with visitation on Friday from 2:00 PM until service time.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Mrs. Casper be made to the American Cancer Society, www.Cancer.org .
