Dorothy Nelle Broome's Obituary
Dorothy Nelle Beatty Broome passed away on Saturday, August 18, 2012.
Beloved mother of Tedi K. Broome (Ellis). She is also survived by five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore Kelcey Broome; and a son, Robert Beatty Broome.
Age 98 years, she was a native of Little Rock, Arkansas, a resident of Abita Springs, Louisiana for the past nine years, and a former resident of Malvern, Arkansas for some 40 years. Mrs. Broome was a volunteer at Hot Spring County Hospital in Malvern, Arkansas and at St. Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington, Louisiana. She also worked with the Hot Spring County Cancer Society as treasurer.
A private interment will take place at a later date at Rest Haven Cemetery in Malvern, Arkansas.
