Dorothy Robinson Alba passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2009.
Beloved wife of Adrian T. Alba. Mother of Deborah A. Mecom, Jeanne A. Schmidt, Adrian T. Alba, Jr., Charles G. Alba, Thomas J. Alba and Gary A. Alba. Daughter of the late Guy and Josephine Schexnaildre Robinson. Sister of the late Guy, Marion, Ronald, Emmett Robinson, Gloria R. Michler and Betty R. Fleming. Also survived by 12 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Age 77 years. A native of New Orleans, LA, a former longtime resident of Metairie and a resident of Mandeville, LA for the past 1 year.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service from E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433 on Saturday, October 31, 2009 at 12:00 PM. Visitation from 10:00 AM until service time.
Interment in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations to the American Cancer Society, 2605 River Road, New Orleans, LA 70121.
