Thea and I were agents together back in the 70’s in Gretna. We were both teaching school at the time. We ended up working together again many years later on the Northshore. Thea was always so kind and just a very good person. She will be missed.

Steve and I were neighbors with Thea for about 25 years. She was a wonderful neighbor and friend. She was very thoughtful of us when we lost our son Jonathan. She was a great friend and realtor when we sold our home and bought several other properties. She took care to be thoughtful and excellent at what she did. When Covid hit, she waived the rent for the tenants on her rental properties. She hosted wonderful events on New Year's Day and for her church. She had chronic illnesses, but never complained. I am sure that God greeted her with the words, "Well done, good and faithful servant." We love you, Thea, and will see you in heaven! Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Fred.

We were in our 20s and somehow, Thea talked me into sky diving with her. Neither of us had ever done it before. I don't think we had ever been in a plane, and now she wants us to jump out of one? Well, she convinced me that it would be fun. After we arrived at the airport, I chickened out. Thea put the gear on, got into the plane, and actually jumped out. I felt so proud of her for actually doin̈g it. Thea always knew what she wanted and did what was necessary to get it. Rest in peace. You will be missed.

Such a wonderful person and great neighbor! Thea and Fred always opened their home to large gatherings on New Year's Eve and were so gracious in their hospitality. I joked with Thea about her real estate savvy in buying/selling properties for me and Cassy - she was so good at her job I said, "Gosh, Thea, it takes you all day to sell a home!" Her love of Fred, children, and her church family was inspiring. Fred and Thea - a class act all the way. We love you, Fred, and are sorry for this loss.

Fred and Nick, we are so sorry to hear about Thea. I know she had been fighting this battle a long time. She was always so active and I know she missed her hobbies. We were neighbors for over 40 years and it won't be the same out here without her. Our thought and prayers are with you both. Sincerely, Cindy and Buddy Prudhomme.

Fond memories of the house on Aline Street in New Orleans. A shotgun double our two families shared from the early fifties to the mid sixties. We were cousins who grew up like siblings. Blessed times!
