Doris Dodd Hiern's Obituary
Doris Dodd Hiern passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2011. She was born in New Orleans, La. on April 3, 1922 to the late Oakley F. and Josephine Fee Dodd and has been a resident of Mandeville, La. since 1983.
The beloved wife of the late Livingston Shipman Hiern, Jr., she is survived by two daughters, Susan Hiern Filiberto and Wendy Hiern Magnani (Donny); one son, Glenn Hiern (Barbara); five grandchildren: Kyle and Brian Filiberto, Jamie and Courtney Hiern, Lindsey Godbery Harvel (Bo) and one great granddaughter, Gaby Filiberto. She was preceded in death by three sisters: Mehrl Feehan, Melba Carter and Irma Canone.
Private committal services will be held at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens with a Memorial Celebration for family and friends at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
