Dear Terry, I was so sad to hear of your Mom's passing. I know what good care you took of her. My father, as well, died of Alzheimer's at the age of 80. It is a terrible disease. My thoughts are with you.

My deepest sympathy for your loss. I'm so lucky to have known Doris. I spent many enjoyable hours with her shopping, going out to eat and the best part, just talking to her. She had a way of making the daily problems seem to go away. I will miss Doris always but I will remember her beautiful smile, the days we both shared and the way we both loved really good cupcakes with lots of frosting.

May God bless you and your family in your hour of grief. I had the privilege of volunteering at Lakeview Regional Medical Center with Doris and she had a beautiful sense of humor and she touched so many lives as a volunteer. And as a Eucharistic Minister I was able to bring her Holy Communion while she was a patient in the hospital. I feel blessed to have known her.
