Doris Marguerite Ducros' Obituary
Doris Marguerite “Molly” Magee Ducros passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2008. She was born October 28, 1917 in Talisheek, LA to the late Walter and Bernelia Penton Magee and has been a resident of Abita Springs since 1961.
The beloved wife of the late Joseph M. Ducros, Jr., she is survived by two daughters, Joanell D. Clelland and Jo-Carroll A. Ducros; one "son" Leo Clelland; one granddaughter, Kimberly Hollard; one sister, Barbara Paulk; one step-sister, Doris Loustalot; two step-grandchildren, William Clelland and Alicia Watts and spouse Jerome; three step-great-grandchildren,Bailey Clelland, Jerome and Kelsey Watts, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her brother, C.W. Magee and one sister, Hilda Blanchard.
Molly was a dedicated parishioner of St. Jane de Chantel in Abita Springs, the former vice-president of the Abita Garden Club and was an active member of the VFW Auxiliary Post 8720.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral mass on Thursday, March 13, 2008 at 11:00 AM from St. Jane de Chantel Catholic Church, 72040 Maple St., Abita Springs, LA 70420.
A wake is scheduled for Wednesday March 12, 2008 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433 from 6-9:00 PM with visitation beginning AT THE CHURCH Thursday at 9:00 AM.
Interment will follow mass at the Abita Springs Cemetery.
