Donice Dutruch's Obituary
Donice “Doe” “George” Dutruch passed away on Monday, July 2, 2007. He was born October 8, 1925 in Covington, LA to the late Louis D. Dutruch, Sr. and Florence Glass Dutruch. He was a resident of Chalmette for over 45 years before moving back to Covington after Hurricane Katrina.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Myrtle “Sis” Kennedy Dutruch of 54 years. He will be sadly missed by his three daughters, Paulette Dutruch Ingulia (Jerry Ingulia), Denise Dutruch Venturella (Charles Venturella) and Rene’ Dutruch; five grandchildren: Rusty Huber, III, Amy Huber, Julee’ Huber, Holly Messina and Rachel Messina. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Jeanette Marguerite Dutruch, Ollie D. Wininger and three brothers, Louis D. Dutruch, Jr., James A. “Pete” Dutruch and Wallace S. Dutruch. Donice was a veteran of the US Army and retired after 32 years from Kaiser Aluminum.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend Funeral Services on Saturday, July 7, 2007 at 12:00 Noon from the Chapel at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave., Covington, LA 70433.
Visitation will begin for a Wake Friday, July 6, 2007 at 6:00 PM and Saturday at 10:00 AM.
Interment will follow services at Pilgrim’s Rest Cemetery in Covington.
