Donald C. Wanner's Obituary
Donald Claiborne Wanner passed away on Friday, January 25, 2008. A native and life resident of the Covington/Madisonville area, he was born February 15, 1931 to the late Andrew and Hazel Rester Wanner. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Elmera Fletcher Wanner; three children: Donna Lee Efferson, Daniel J. Wanner and Lalanne W. Motichek; one brother, Jerry Wanner and one sister, Joan W. Edwards. He is also survived by eight grandchildren: Shawn Marie Graphia, Kristy M. Haik, Donald “Clay” Motichek, Jennifer Ann Kerwin, D.J. Wanner, James and Robert Walker, Angie W. Geros and 12 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one grandson, Jared S. Efferson. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the memorial services on Monday, January 28, 2008 at 6:00 PM from the Chapel at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 West 21st Ave, Covington, LA 70433. Visiting hours will begin at 5:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
