He was born to the late Clinton and Eleanor Beck Shannon. He was the beloved husband of Judy Shannon; father of Joyce Shugg, Jan Stanley, Jill Klimas and Clint Shannon; grandfather of Krystle and Troy Stanley, Tyler Shugg, Ryan, Heather and Alyssa Shannon and Connor Klimas. Mr. Shannon was a Retired City of Miami and Miami-Dade School Police Officer.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend Funeral Services on Monday, December 4, 2006 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave., Covington, LA 70433. Visitation will begin Friday at 1:00 PM.
