Donald Lynn Primes, Sr. passed away on Friday, March 12, 2010.
Beloved husband of Shirley T. Primes for 40 years. Father of Melissa Primes Dottolo (Stephen Dottolo), Donald L. Primes, Jr. (Denise Kron), Kyle Primes, Kara Primes Goff (Bengie Goff) and Chad Ross Primes(Sabrina Moldaner). Grandfather of Stephen Dottolo, Jr. and Jacqueline Primes. Brother of Paulette Duncan and Sybil Nordgren.
Age 63 years. He served as a Covington City Councilman for many years, coached many age levels and sports at the Covington Recreation Center, was an avid bowler, fisherman and gardener. He retired as a mortgage lender. A native and lifelong resident of Covington, LA.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service from E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433 on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at 2:00 PM. Visitation from 11:00 AM until service time.
Interment in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.
