Donald Lance Parish's Obituary
Donald Lance Parish, a resident of Folsom, Louisiana, peacefully passed away surrounded by his devoted and loving family on Friday, March 6, 2026. He was born on July 15, 1967, in Hammond, Louisiana.
Lance was the proud owner of Village Bay Car Wash, Village Laundromat, and Boom Outdoors Whitetail Farm in Folsom, Louisiana.
Prior to a life altering injury at the age of 19, Lance lived in his native home of Albany, Louisiana, where he attended and graduated from Albany High School. Lance was a true outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing and hunting with family and friends. Lance attended Bethlehem Baptist Church in Albany.
Lance is survived by his mother, Alice “Tiny” Knight Parish; sister, Nikki Parish Caminita (Frank “FJ”); nieces, Raven Parish Caminita, Maggie Keating, and Christina Caminita; nephews, Frankie Caminita, Lance Parish Caminita, and Nicholas Adam Caminita; great nieces, Jillian Caminita and Kalea Keating; great nephews, Isaiah Keating, Colby Keating, Frank Caminita; and many other extended family members and friends.
Lance is preceded in death by his father, Donald M. Parish; paternal grandparents, Momon Maloy and Elizabeth Tebbetts Parish; and maternal grandparents, JD and Dottie Knight.
Friends and family are invited to attend the celebration of life service at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at Bogue Falaya Baptist Church, 78689 Highway 25, Folsom, Louisiana, with visitation beginning at 9:00 AM. Interment will follow at Pilgrim’s Rest Cemetery, 20122 Stafford Road, Covington, Louisiana. Fellowship with family and friends will be at Bogue Falaya Baptist Church immediately following the interment.
