Donald Francis Harang's Obituary
Donald Francis Harang, Jr passed away peacefully at his home July 20, 2023, at the age of 74.
Mr. Harang is survived by his wife, Cheryl Ray Harang, his son, Beau Harang (Jaou), stepdaughter, Lauren and 2 grandchildren, Jack Ponder and Bailey Fuqua.
Survived by his sisters, Marie Louise Harang, Ann H. Provis (George), Mary Harang Beattie, (Butch), Mona H. Ragusa (Lee), Joan H. Tessero (Gary), and several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by a daughter, Renee Harang, a brother, James "Jim" Harang, and his parents, Donald Francis Harang and Marie Louise Gouaux Harang.
A native of Lafourche Parish, Mr. Harang graduated from St. Paul's High School in Covington. After high school he attended Notre Dame University before graduating from LSU Law School and beginning his professional career as a successful and well-respected attorney.
Mr. Harang was very involved in his community. He was president of Leadership Lafourche for several years and was involved with several organizations.
Mr. Harang was loving, compassionate, and most of all a very caring person to all. He will be dearly missed by his friends and family.
