Donald Herman Fussell's Obituary
Donald Herman Fussell passed away on Monday, July 27, 2015 at the age of 77.
Beloved son of the late Myrtle and Elton Fussell. Former husband of Gloria Fussell. Loving step-father of Ana Maria Norman and father of Amanda Fussell Hillegass and Judy Fussell Hernandez (Osman). Brother of Katherine Bennett, Janese James and the late Marie Fussell. Grandfather of Adriana Hernandez, Nathan Hernandez, Brianna Hernandez and Aaliyah Hillegass.
He was a native and lifelong resident of Folsom. He was a Chief Naval Engineer during the Korean and Vietnam War where he was awarded the Joint Service Commendation Medal for valor in the line of duty. He was beloved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at, E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Thursday, July 30, 2015 at 11:00 AM with visitation on Thursday beginning at 9:00 AM.
Interment will follow in Joiner Cemetery.
