Sheri, I have not seen you in quite a while. I just read this. I wanted to let you know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers at this very sad a hard time. I know what it is to lose your Daddy. It does get a little easier as time passes and you can reflect on all the fun times. Mr. Don was always one of the teenage friendly dad's when we were growing up in King's Forest. I do remember going camping with Sheri and her family once in Mississippi and we had a blast! Sheri was especially close to her dad and I am sure he will be missed by so many of us. My condolences to Ms.Jane, Sheri, Kim, Brett and the rest of the family.
I remember all the times we went camping in our motor homes with our CB radios. Holcomb, Fornea and Walker families were the camping kings/queens! Remember that time in Jamestown, when Uncle Don went in to shower....right as Alison turned on the hot water in the women’s side? That blood-curdling scream as he was hit with ice cold water? That was too too funny.
He will certainly be missed. I’m sure Mom is happy to have him to spar with again. Much love from Jodi and Rich.
