I was so blessed to be apart of this family for over 30 years. Donald was my second father. You were the best Don.
I will always love you! Wayne.

Don joined Dr. James Willis and myself in the practice of diagnostic radiology in the late 70's after finishing his training .He was a wonderful addition ,always smiling, never flustered, and extremely competent .Loved to tell jokes .After he joined Ochsner we still kept in touch . He encouraged me to move to Christwood ,which he enjoyed very much. Miss you Don.

Always being welcoming, years ago, Uncle Don invited me and a friend named Jonathan to stay with him for the weekend. On one of the days that we were there, he joined us for a round of golf at the course he lived on at the time. When he found himself in a green side bunker during the match, he holed out for birdie to my buddy's and my amazement. He was a great golfer and even better dad, uncle, and many other titles that he held. He will be missed by all the SW Louisiana bunch.

in honor of Donald "Don".

I never had the honor of knowing Don. However, I felt connected to him by memories shared by his beautiful daughter, Ashley Marie and most recently by his lovely wife, Dawn. Just reading of Don’s extraordinary accomplishments throughout his lifetime is a testimony of a remarkable person. Above all, I loved hearing of Don’s kindness and love for his family shared by Ashley and her mom. May these precious memories sustain each of you as you grieve your great loss. Sending Prayers and hugs to all of the McBurney family❣️️Joyce Falcon
