Donald Phillip Cowell's Obituary
Master Sergeant Donald Phillip Cowell U.S. Air Force (Ret.), passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at the age of 47. Beloved husband of Aimee Taylor Cowell. Loving father of Blake Cowell (Kristen), Lane Cowell, Sarah Cowell and Natalie Cowell. Son of Helen Ashmore Helmuth and the late Donald Lewis Cowell. Step-son of Earl J. Helmuth. Brother of Phillip Cowell and Holly Panariello. Grandfather of River Cowell. Grandson of the late Raymond and Doris Cowell. Also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
Donald proudly served in and retired from the U.S. Air Force after 20 years of service. After retiring he continued working as a defense contractor. Donald was a devoted husband and loving father who enjoyed spending time with his family.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Thursday, June 27, 2019 at 11:00 AM with visitation on Thursday beginning at 9:00 AM.
Interment will follow in Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Mr. Cowell to be made to Shriners Hospital for Children.
