Not enough people know how much he loved to sing.
I met Mr. Buendia at Puerto Rico Marine (NPR). He was a kind, generous man who loved people and the business he was in. I enjoyed his stories and will remember him fondly.
Some of the best days of my life were with you, RIP my good friend, have a drink with Manelik in heaven on me.

Don and I worked together in San Juan in the early 70s for GPRL and Sea-Land. It was immediately apparent to me that he was a very special person. My good fortune was to have him as a mentor and a friend, a friendship that has lasted to his passing. He will be greatly missed by everyone his life touched.
