Don, sorry to hear about your loss. I'm sure I met him over the years as I knew your mom many years ago while working with BellSouth in Covington.
Mr. Don was a true patriot and a great friend. I will always fondly remember spending many Wednesday nights and Friday mornings with Mr. Don at Robert H. Burns American Legion Post 16 Bingo's. Don also was available whenever we asked him to help us with things around the Post. Don also helped me build a bar for the Abita Springs VFW and was truely a great craftsman.
Mr. Don will truely be missed by many of us at the American Legion and I truely will personally miss my many conversations and times I shared with this great veteran and man.
