Dolly Gene Morgan Joiner passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at her home in Covington, LA. She was born on January 26, 1944 in Covington, LA to the late Marvin Steve Morgan and Audrey Rubion Morgan.
Dolly was the beloved wife of Harry Joiner. She was the loving mother of Melody Quave (Dennis). Dolly was the proud grandmother of Steven Joiner (Kassie), Lacee Joiner, Ryan, Tyler (deceased), and Nicholas Quave. Dolly was a great-grandmother of Kiyah (Lacee), Braylen (Lacee), Zoey (Steven), Zariyah (Lacee), and Ty’Lynn (Lacee). She was the sister of William Spike Morgan (deceased) and Barbara (Vic) Merritt.
Dolly was a lifelong resident of Covington. She was hard working and loved her family deeply. She had a life full of adventures, traveling, and cruising. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Service at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave., Covington, LA 70433 on Friday, August 9, 2:00 PM with visitation from 12:00 PM until service time. Interment will follow the service at Allison Cemetery, Folsom, LA.
