Digna Morillo Isa's Obituary
Digna Morillo Isa, age 87 years, passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2011.
Survived by her son George Isa, M.D., grandson Cole Isa, daughter Amalin Isa and sister Yara Morillo. She was preceeded in death by her husband Juan “Ace” Isa, sister Gladys Morillo, brothers Ramon Morillo of Cuba, Augusto Morillo of Destin, FL and Miguel Morillo of Venezuela.
She was born in Havana, Cuba in 1923 where she received a Doctorate of Education and a Law Degree from the University of Havana. She and her family moved to the United States in 1966. Formerly of Kenner and Marrero and a now resident of Mandeville, LA for the past 4 years.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service from E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433 on Friday, August 19, 2011 at 7:00PM. Visitation from 5:00 PM until service time. Interment in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens on Saturday at 10:00 AM.
