Dianne Signorino Thompson's Obituary
Dianne Signorino Thompson beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother peacefully passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at her home in Folsom, LA. Dianne was born on November 18, 1939 in New Orleans, LA to Paul Peter Signorino and Dorothy Gulino Signorino. She was a long time resident of St. Tammany Parish.
She is survived by her children, Kristi T. Moore (Michael) and Paula M. Thompson (Julie); grandchildren, H. Denny Moore (Kristian), Meghan M. Candiotto (Brennen), Angel T. Pellergrin and Steven A. Watts; her great grandson, Landon Moore and her beloved pet, Maggie Mae.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy L. Thompson; her son, Steven L. Thompson; her parents Dorothy Gulino Signorino and Paul Peter Signorino; grandchild, Chad L. Thompson; and her sister, Dorothy “Dee” S. Taylor.
Dianne graduated from Covington High School in 1958. She earned her nursing degree from Southeastern Louisiana University. She began her nursing career at St. Tammany Parish Hospital and went on to retire from Lakeview Hospital. She was a natural caregiver at heart which was shown by the loving care she provided for many of her family members throughout her retirement years.
Dianne enjoyed both gardening and birdwatching and was happiest when spending time with her children and grandchildren, who lovingly referred to her as their “Queen”.
She may be gone from our sight but will never be gone from our hearts.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at Bogue Falaya Baptist Church, 78689 Hwy. 25, Folsom, LA 70437 on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at 2:00 PM with visitation at the church on Wednesday beginning at 12:00 noon. Interment will follow in Bogue Falaya Cemetery. A funeral reception will be held at the church.
