Diana L. Pollock Mowen's Obituary
Diana L. Pollock Mowen was born May 16, 1948 in Bogalusa, LA to the late Jim and Minerva Pollock. The family moved to Covington, and Slidell for a short time before moving to Hammond, LA. Diana attended Hammond High School, where she was a cheerleader. She graduated in 1966, upon graduating, Diana started Southeastern Louisiana College in the fall of 1966 majoring in Business Education. She was a cheerleader in college, eventually becoming Head Cheerleader. She was also the first sweetheart of Delta Tau Delta, Epsilon Phi Chapter, and also was a member of Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority. She received numerous awards in college; the tops being elected to Who’s Who among students in American Universities and Colleges. Diana graduates in 3 ½ years, upon graduating she moved to New Orleans and worked at various oil and gas related companies in accounting. Diana moved to Mandeville in 1990 working for a few companies and ended her career with Aquarius Pools as Office Manager.
In retirement, Diana loved gardening, both flowers and vegetables, growing a lot from seeds. She also was into making costume jewelry which she gave to the staff in various doctor’s offices. Diana truly had a heart of gold and always put everyone else before herself. She was one of a kind and will be truly missed.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Service on Saturday, August 1, 2026 at 3:00 pm at E J Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 West 21st Avenue, Covington, LA and the visitation will begin at 1:00 pm until service time.
